  1. What is it that makes the bi-centennial quarter so valuable. What does one need to look for error-wise? So many articles on this coin but most are of no qualitative value in referencing EXACTLY what to look for in a circulated coin that makes it valuable. A MINT coin is understood but most articles are rubbish on circulated bi-centennials.

I have a small collection that my grandfather has left me from silver dollars 1889 1925 1776 1972.
    And Half dollars 1964 1967 1968 1974
Some one dollars coins 1789 color is like gold and two from 1979.
A lot of quarters from 1776
And only 5 cents the one it’s missing one leg it doesn’t show a year but it looks bad I gest that is the reason it lost a leg.
The time you sell this what type of tax is put on it?
    Thanks for the information.

    • If you have an authentic 3 legged buffalo it is a 1937D. Even in poor condition it will bring about $75. But beware, most 3 legged bufs actually had the one leg removed by unscrupulous people trying to cash in. If you believe it authentic you should have it appraised. Avg condition could bring $700, MS up to $5000 or more.

  5. What is the point of this article if you have to go somewhere else for the information.? Something fishy about the reason for this!? Also if someone was searching for a certain error on a certain coin, they are not going to reveal it, ever. So when you post a pic, they see the error , do not mention it, you sell it to them, they get it graded then sell it in auction for thousands, otherwise , there would be more popular auctions!

  6. Good 👍 night sir/madam. I have one or two nice coins also. One is the 1971 d mint. It’s missing some of the letters in e pluribus unum and some other errors. I think it’s worth some good money. If you can help me sell it for an lil extra %percentage. Thanks.
